Position Overview:

 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager to lead our Information Technology department. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to effectively manage and enhance our organization's IT infrastructure and services. The IT Manager will play a crucial role in aligning technology solutions with business objectives, ensuring data security, and fostering a productive IT environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·        Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute IT strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for technological advancements to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

 

·        Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, support staff, and other technical roles. Provide guidance, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities to ensure team growth.

 

·        Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage systems, and cloud services. Ensure reliability, scalability, and high availability of all systems.

 

·        Software and Applications: Manage the selection, deployment, and maintenance of software applications and tools that support various business functions, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and productivity software.

 

·        Security and Compliance: Establish and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and practices to safeguard sensitive data and protect against cybersecurity threats. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

 

·        Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT department budget, making informed decisions to allocate resources effectively. Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.

 

·        Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and external partners to evaluate technology solutions, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships. Ensure service-level agreements are met and vendor performance is optimal.

 

·        Project Management: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, coordinating project teams, defining project scope, setting timelines, and managing resources. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

 

·        User Support: Oversee the IT helpdesk function, providing timely and effective technical support to end users. Monitor service requests, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance user experience.

 

Qualifications:

 

·        Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

·        Proven experience (X+ years) in IT management, including team leadership and strategic planning.

·        Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and security principles.

·        Experience with cloud technologies, virtualization, and data center management.

·        Familiarity with industry-standard compliance and security frameworks.

·        Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·        Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, PMP) are a plus.

·        Demonstrated ability to adapt to technological advancements and industry trends.
